    Hi Brian,

I think the quality of the overall GMT+9 articles is very high. There is always to find something for people who are interested in Japanese watches. I like specially when watches are put in a perspective in life, such as the article of the G-Shock and old folks by Petew and your article of the GW-9100 in relation to “The Deathliest Catch”.

It’s hard to say which article is my favorite, but these two articles are engraved in my mind ;-)

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi Sjors,

Thank you for your comments. Of course your two favorites were about “Gs” … :-)

By the way, question for you about the WUS G-Shock Forum. When I posted a link on the WUS G-Shock Forum to my article on AWG-500, it only got “1″ comment, and only 194 views (in over 1 week) and quickly scrolled off the main forum page 1.

Checking my web stats, only about 30 people clicked on the link from WUS — many more people (several hundred) came to the GMT+9 article from a link at MyGshock.

Do you think it’s because there are many new G-Shock Forum members and they’re more interested in the latest models? Other idea?

    Thanks!

    Hi Brian,

I think I can explain what happened. I frankly didn’t see your post on WUS, but when I saw your new article (it was posted the same day when I noticed it), I gave a link to Riley of My G-Shock. Since his website is like a News Website I thought it was the best place point to your article. In the G-Shock forum there is sometimes so much traffic that it is hard to see the news between the other posts.

I posted about a G-Shock Giveaway at Sneakerfreaker on the forum too. I got only 2 replies in the first 5 hours or so.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi Sjors,

No worries; I’m not complaining. I just found it interesting. Like the Seiko/Citizen Forum, it seems a lot of the old timers have moved on and aren’t posting on the WUS G-Shock Forum anymore, and there are a lot of “newbies” hanging out. Whatever, that’s cool!

    Thanks,

    Bryan

    Hi all,

It might be impolite for me to mention my own favorite (since I’m the author), but this is mine:
