After my post on Seiko Fun Walker model SVAH007, I got the picture above and the e-mail below from an owner.

Basic Info:

There are three models in the lineup.  The walker, there’s a runner and a referee timer.  I get the impression they are kind of built for either old folks or those intimidated by fancy multi-function watches.  They are designed with larger screens and in the case of the runner, a dumbed down version of the chronograph timer used in Seiko’s other runners watches.

The cases are a very hard plastic resin and the walker is unique with it’s deployment rubber band.  The buttons on the walker are a little cheap though.

I’ve actually got both the walker and the runner.  The runner is a GREAT sports watch as it’s tremendously light.  I bought the walker first….I liked the idea of a step counter on a watch, but it’s not functional to play golf with because when it’s on your wrist, it registers all your swings and practice swings as steps.  I liked it so much I bought the runner a few months later.  Got them both for dirt cheap.
