One of my favorite videos on YouTube was made by a young Korean man whose username is “KJH3496.” The video (link below) shows Seiko Premier Kinetic SNP003P, which was released in 2005 and sells for around $500 U.S. The amateur video has been viewed 3,740 times — it’s quite a good commercial for this watch.

The video doesn’t have fancy graphics, or use special video editing software like Final Cut Pro. Instead, it simply shows the watch “waking up” after being in sleep mode. I like the framing, lighting, and the ambient sounds in the video. I also like the opening banner with writing in Korean, made with a piece of white cardboard and a Sharpie.
