I love these posts petew! Thanks for the effort, it's a window into another world. :-)

The Golf Watch with what looks like a spike cleaner built in! ºLº Where else are you going to see a Seiko like that!

Lots of watches I've never seen! Broadening my mind, gotta like that! :-)

Thanks again, all three of you I guess!

pete, thanx for the write up. i do wish yahoo sellers would write a bit more about the watches they sell. sometimes it takes me a good hour to figure out if it's a quartz watch or not. in the long run, i suppose thats where the most fun is at :)

Hi petew,

I thought I would add a watch and follow up on one of your posted watches.

First one is the Crown you posted above. This is a slightly better example off the Japanese auctions. About USD 100 newly serviced last year.

Other interesting watch I saw in the auctions this month were a bunch of Seiko Sottsass Quartz watches. The same seller had four of these in different colours. Otherwise you only see one or two per year. The watches sold for 20.000 yen for the cheapest to about 60.000 yen for the most expensive. The one below was purchased by me for 43.000 yen. I this has the best colour combination.
